In this column, Mitch goes through the BEST BET he's seeing in the NBA today.

In this column, I’ll go through the BEST BET I’m seeing in the league today; this can be in a spread, a moneyline, an Over/Under, or a player prop.

OVERALL RECORD: 200-132-3, +52.29
RECAP: It’s days like the past two that really make us the cash we need to propel us over the fifty unit mark, and it was a glorious one. Not only did my NBA of the Day hit, but we went 4-1 overall in the NBA yesterday thanks to some wins from Boston, Portland, and the Charlotte total. Obviously the Rockets won as well, going up by twenty essentially in the first quarter and literally never looking back. It was absolutely sweat-free, and felt good to be on the right side of.

The Washington Wizards are still on a historically bad run, and I think that they will end up finishing with the worst record in the league when it’s all said and done, and are also historically bad on the road this season. They’re taking on the Chicago Bulls, who aren’t world-beaters by any means either; but someone has to cover the spread in this game, and it sits at Chicago -12 as we speak.

Both of these teams are 3-7 ATS over their last ten games, but our Money Handles tool is all over one of these sides to cover the spread tonight. Our Sharp AI has this game as a win for the Bulls with a line of 10.5, but we’ll take our chances on the Bulls to add a point or two from that prediction.

The Sharp App Money Handles tool has this game as a major winner for the Bulls, with huge potential public sharp money coming in on them for tonight’s game. The Bulls own 38% of the betting handle on this landscape tonight, but own 99% of the money handle. Literally, according to our data, almost all of the money on this game is coming in on Chicago, leading to a difference of 61%. That’s a crazy big difference that we don’t see too often.

Meanwhile, the Bulls have shown to be one of the most efficient offenses in the league over their last five games, scoring 115 points per game, good for tenth in the league over that stretch. The Wizards are only averaging 107 over that stretch. As the home favorite, the Bulls have been pretty bad ATS, hitting only 42% of the time. The Wizards lose by nine points per game on average when they’re away underdogs, and are actually positive when that happens. The trends are against us in this case, but the money handles tool is all over this play. We literally have no choice but to hammer, in my opinion, as I foresee the line continuing to rise and rise. The only trend that fits our bill is that, when both teams are on equal rest, the Wizards tend to lose on average by 12 points - and that’s for sure in our favor.

Twelve points isn’t too bad, and this Bulls team has a resurging Coby White and Demar Derozan to lean back on. I’m confident that the Bulls will be able to show their dominance at home, and solidify themselves in the playoff contention with a win over the worst team in the league.

PICK: Chicago Bulls -12
