Tonight we’re going to highlight our nationally televised game between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks inside Madison Square Garden. While most of the Sharp coaches are on one side of this play, we’re actually going to look at the total between these two teams. 

Straight up being honest with you, the trends do not favor the play that we’re going to be making. That being said, these teams are due for regression and we’re going to be seeing some of the same that we saw in the last game between these two teams.

The last time these two teams faced off, we saw a high-scoring game in which Boston took hold of the game late, winning 133-123 and Derrick White went off for 30 points. It’s been two months since we’ve seen these teams go at each other, and now, these teams are very different than they were during December. 

But we follow the Sharp App Money Handles religiously, and that means that we’re going to hit the over because of the difference. As of writing, the Over has 38% of the total bets on this game; especially when the Knicks are in play, the Over is always going to be on the opposite side of the public. The question mark, though, is the money handles part of this tool, which shows that there’s 80% of all money placed on this game on the over; that means that we’re seeing some huge bets on this side, good enough for a 42% difference between the two sides. That’s a major play. 

We’re also seeing Sharp AI on our side, with the total projecting around 225.5 for this game; we get a point and a half of wiggle room if we’re using the projections system. And it’s without question because of the Celtics, who have (over their last five games) been absolutely obliterating teams. They’re 9-1 in their last ten games and they’re averaging 120 points per game over that stretch. 

The Knicks have scored over 100 points in each of their last 10 games, and we really only need them to get to like, 105 to make this happen. Jalen Brunson and company won’t let us down here. 

Let’s take the over, even though it will be VERY much against the public to do so. That means I love it, and you should love it, too.
