Anthony P's CFL Model Week 13

We will add new sports and models as we build the app and make it more robust. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

This betting model is derived directly from a source that provides me with all the information for the Sharp Report which I trust implicitly. This model serves as a foundation for determining and handling game lines and totals. As with any model, it incorporates a statistical analysis of both teams, including factors such as injuries and home-field advantage. The distinctive advantage of this model is the inclusion of adjustments based on public perception and early market evaluation. However, it's important to note that this model doesn't accommodate last-minute adjustments. Therefore, for the most accurate and up-to-date advice, I encourage you to reach out to me directly on my Discord channel.

CFL BETTING MODEL FOR WEEK 13, 2023

The last two weeks have been nothing short of a rollercoaster. While the top five teams have maintained their positions, the rest of the league has seen significant shifts that could have implications for sports bettors. Let's delve into the intricacies of these movements and what they mean for Week 13.

The Argos Hold the Fort, Barely

The Toronto Argonauts managed to cling to the top spot in my power rankings, despite a less-than-stellar performance against Calgary. Quarterback Kelly may not have been at his best, but he got the job done, keeping the Argos at the pinnacle for another week. The Winnipeg Blue Bombers, BC Lions, Montreal Alouettes, and Saskatchewan Roughriders have held their ground at positions 2 through 5, respectively.

The Lions vs. Alouettes: A Battle for the Fourth Spot

This week's clash between the Lions and the Alouettes is shaping up to be a monumental one. A win for Montreal could propel them to the coveted fourth spot in the rankings. The game is not just a battle on the field but also a significant event for bettors. The Alouettes at +3.5 offer a tantalizing option, especially considering the line has already dropped from its opening at +4.

The Elks' Resurgence and Hamilton's Identity Crisis

Two good weeks can make a world of difference in a nine-team league. The Edmonton Elks, led by Ford, have leaped from 8th to 6th place, shaking up the middle of the pack. Meanwhile, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats have been a study in contrasts, going from underperformers against Edmonton to roaring back to form against the Lions. The league's variance is not just a talking point; it's a crucial factor that bettors need to consider.

Calgary's Fall and Ottawa's Struggles

Calgary may have showcased a brilliant passing game in their last outing, but it wasn't enough to prevent their fifth loss in six games, pushing them down to the 8th spot. Ottawa, on the other hand, has been a personal disappointment for me, especially after losing a significant bet on them in their last game against Edmonton. Quarterback Crum seems to be a shadow of his former self, and the team is on a five-game losing streak, rightfully occupying the last spot in the rankings.

The Week 13 Betting Landscape

The betting market for Week 13 appears to be relatively stagnant, with low handle across the board. However, the Alouettes at +3.5 stand out as a value bet, given the line movement and the potential for an upset against the Lions.

Good luck this week!
