We will add new sports and models as we build the app and make it more robust. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

This betting model is derived directly from a source that provides me with all the information for the Sharp Report which I trust implicitly. This model serves as a foundation for determining and handling game lines and totals. As with any model, it incorporates a statistical analysis of both teams, including factors such as injuries and home-court advantage. The distinctive advantage of this model is the inclusion of adjustments based on public perception and early market evaluation. However, it's important to note that this model doesn't accommodate last-minute adjustments. Therefore, for the most accurate and up-to-date advice, I encourage you to reach out to me directly on my Discord channel.

WNBA BETTING MODEL FOR OCT 8, 2023

It's the kind of Sunday where the gridiron usually takes center stage, but the WNBA is dishing out some hardwood drama of its own. With the NFL serving up a tantalizing menu of games, the timing of the WNBA finals at 3 pm might not be the most fortunate. But for those in the know, there's a captivating narrative unfolding on the court.

First off, let's talk shop. The line for game one of the finals hasn't wavered much, but we've seen a slight dip in the total, from 172.5 to 171. Interestingly, despite this drop, the over's got 70% of the handle. As for picking sides? Well, it's a coin toss with a 50-50 split, though the Liberty has snatched up 55% of the tickets.

The New York Liberty are chasing ghosts from the past. Established in '97, they're still on the hunt for that elusive first title, despite dancing in the finals four times. Their last appearance? A sweep at the hands of the LA Sparks in 2002. But this season, with a roster that arguably rivals any opponent, the Liberty is looking to mirror the success of the Las Vegas Aces, who clinched their inaugural title last year.

The Liberty's offseason maneuvers, particularly roping in veteran forwards, seem to be paying off. With heavy hitters like Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones in the mix, there's ample room for their star guard, Sabrina Ionescu, to work her magic. The results are in the numbers: The Liberty lead the league in 3-point shooting, draining 37.4% from downtown. In the playoffs, Ionescu's been fire, hitting 43.2% from beyond the arc, with teammate Betnijah Laney not far behind at 43.8%. And Jonquel Jones? She's been a beast, averaging a double-double with 16.5 points and 12.8 boards a game.

But don't sleep on the Aces. A'ja Wilson is, in a word, dominant. Named the WNBA's Defensive Player of the Year, she's swatting away 3.2 shots a game and, on the flip side, dropping 25.8 points and snatching 11.2 rebounds each outing. And she's not alone. Chelsea Gray and Kelsey Plum have been instrumental, chipping in with 16 points apiece in the playoffs. ATS, the Aces are sitting at 3-3, with just one of their playoff games eclipsing the total.

So, where's the smart money in this clash of titans? Historically, the Liberty has had the Aces' number, even nabbing the Commissioner's Cup from them. But game one? That might be a different story. With the Las Vegas crowd roaring in anticipation of another final, the Aces might just have that extra push to not only snag the W but also cover the spread.
