WNBA BETTING MODEL FOR JULY 26, 2023

In the Tuesday matchup, the model favored the Sun while I was inclined toward the Wings. The Wings squandered their advantage in the final stretch of the 4th quarter, proving the model right. However, it's worth noting that my pick of -2 was sharp, as the line closed at -4.

For the upcoming Wednesday's game, the Lynx are projected at -2.5. BetOnline initially opened the odds at -3.5, while DraftKings was more conservative at -1. The line currently stands at -2.5, but it has fluctuated between -3.5 and -2.5.

As we prepare for Wednesday's sole WNBA showdown between the Minnesota Lynx and the Washington Mystics, several intriguing betting patterns and team performances offer valuable insights.

The Under has emerged victorious in the last five encounters between these teams, and the Lynx have been faltering against the spread, going 0-3-1 in their last four games overall. The Lynx have also struggled against teams with a winning record, not covering the spread in their last five encounters.

At this point, the game presents no clear value for bettors. The Mystics have shown a strong form when rested, with a 7-3 ATS in their last ten games played following a two-day break. However, their away record has been disappointing, going 3-8 ATS in their last 11 road games. On the other hand, the Lynx have gone 6-2-1 ATS in their last nine games following a straight-up loss, but have not covered the spread in their last four games overall.
