Tennessee Titans +155
The Titans are in Cleveland to face the Browns, the Browns are looking to rebound from their loss to the Steelers on Monday night and the loss of their of All Pro RB N. Chubb. The Titans have been very competitive in their first 2 games losing a tight road game in New Orleans and then surprising the talented Chargers at home last weekend. The Titans M. Vrabel has always been able to extract extra out of his players since taking over as head coach as he has prepared on a weekly basis. This game is a toss up for me and I can easily see the Titans surprising the Browns and taking this game.
Cleveland Guardians -110 1st 5 innings
The Guardians look to take 3 of 4 games from the O's this afternoon when K. Gibson faces T. McKenzie, McKenzie will only be making his 3rd start of the season as he's been on the IL for most of the season. Gibson for his part has has stretches where he's pitched well this season but right now is not one of them, his ERA over his last 7 starts is 6.75. C. Segal is the umpire behind home plate and he likes his home teams as their record is 19-9 with him calling balls and strikes. I believe the Guardians will have McKenzie on a pitch count so I will back the Guardians in the 1st 5 innings only.
Detroit Tigers/Oakland A's U8 -116
The Tigers and A's finish off their 4 game series this afternoon in a matchup of lefties between E. Rodriguez and JP. Sears. After 2 high scoring in the first 2 games of the series, things went back to normal last night between these two clubs that have issues scoring runs as the final was a 4-1 A's win. Sears will be making his 2nd start versus the Tigers and he shut them out over 7 1/3 IP in 1-0 win in July. Rodriguez has pitched well all season with a 3.58 ERA, plus we have B. Knight behind home plate with his 18-7 record to the under on the season. I expect a low scoring game this afternoon.
