The Cubs continue to win games as last night they used a 2 run 9th inning to snatch a victory from the Rockies 5-4. Tonight they look to carry that momentum when J. Assad faces C. Flexen, the Rockies have lost 5 straight and the season can't end soon enough for them. Their starters aren't pitching well, their offense is mediocre at best and they won be very competitive in the last 3 weeks of the season. The Cubs still have an outside chance at the NL Central division if they keep winning at this clip. The Cubs have the advantage on the mound, in the pen and their starting 9, they will win by multiple runs today.

Cleveland Guardians/SF Giants U8.5 -106

The Guardians try to snap a 3 game losing streak tonight in San Fran while the Giants try to extend their win streak to 5. The Guardians send C. Quantrill to mound to face lefty S. Manaea, since coming off the IL Quantrill has pitched very well giving up only 2 ER over 12 IP. However, the Guardians offense is so bad that they've lost both those starts. Manaea for the Giants has often come into games after a reliver has pitched an inning or two and has been serviceable in that role. D. Dreckman is behind the plate and the under is 4-1 in 5 interleague games this season. Give me the under here.

San Diego Padres +140

The Padres try to make it two straight versus the Dodgers tonight when M. Wacha faces L. Lynn. Lynn looked great in his first 3 starts for the Dodgers and it looked like the change of scenery did him wonders, but since then he's looked like the same pitcher that was roughed up start after start for the White Sox. He's given up 18 ER in 15 IP over his last 3 starts. Wacha continues to be consistent for the Padres going 5 to 6 innings a starts giving up 2-3 runs giving them a chance to win every start. Lynn has not impressed at all lately and getting the Padres at this price is a bonus.
