S. Bieber pitched as well as I expected him to yesterday, unfortunately the Guardians puss home that one extra one that would have made our pick a winner. Today the Guardians look to sweep this series and avoid it having to go to a decided 3rd game. It will be T. Glasnow versus T. McKenzie on the mound, I’m a little perplexed on the Rays choice to go with Glasnow over C. Kluber today, I understand how dominant he was last season before his injury however; he’s only made 2 starts this season never pitching more than 3 2/3 innings. McKenzie for the Guardians has really come into his own this season with his sub 3.00 ERA and being one of the main reasons why the Guardians are back in the post season. I like the Guardians to take the series today, just need them to put 4 runs on the board.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets +145

The Blue Devils (4-1) visit the Yellow Jackets (2-3) in ACC conference play today. Yes the Blue Devils are 4-1, however, the combined W/L record of the 4 teams they beat is 4-10, so before we start allowing them to be road favorites I would like them to beat a team of significance. Yes The Jackets are no world beaters, however, last week they did go to Pitt and win outright as a 21 point dog. I like them to carry that momentum at home this weekend and beat the Blue Devils outright this afternoon.

UCLA Bruins +140

The #11 Utah Utes visit the #18 UCLA Bruins for a PAC 12 clash. Both teams are undefeated in conference play at 2-0, overall the Bruins are 5-0, while the Utes are 4-1 with their only loss being in the swamp opening week versus the Florida Gators. Situationally, this could be a look ahead spot for the Utes as they host the #6 USC Trojans next week in Salt Lake. The Bruins have gotten Heisman Trophy type production so far from QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson as he has accounted for 14 total TDs between throwing and running the ball. This will be the Utes first real test since their opening game versus the Gators on the road and that didn’t end well for them, I like the Bruins here in an upset.
