The Sabres host the Habs tonight in the only game on the NHL slate, the Habs are off a home victory versus the lowly Caps on Saturday and the Sabres took care of business versus the Isles on Saturday as well. There is no denying here the Sabres are the much better team and should win versus the Habs. The Habs have 2 wins on the season but those were versus the Caps and Blackhawks, the two teams have a combined 3 wins in 10 games. I like the Sabres in regulation tonight.

Texas Rangers +115

A big G7 awaits us for the ALCS winner between the Astros and Rangers tonight. It will be M. Scherzer versus C. Javier on the mound, Scherzer did not look good in his only postseason start while Javier has pitched well in 2 games. The Rangers acquired Scherzer from the Mets for exactly this type of game, if it came down to it and I can only believe that Scherzer will bear down and dominate tonight. Neither team has been able to win a game at home in this series and I like that to continue tonight with a Rangers road win in G7.

Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 +118

The Phillies look to win their second pennant in a row tonight when M. Kelly faces A. Nola. How can anyone even consider playing against A. Nola the way he's pitched this postseason, he's pitched 3 games, the Phillies have easily won all 3 (10-0, 10-2 & 7-1), he's posted an 0.96 ERA and a 0.75 WHIP. The Phillies are getting timely hitting and it feels like every hitter has been clutch at one moment or another. If not for the breakdowns of C. Kimbrel, this series would probably be over already. Tonight the inevitable takes place and the Phillies go the World Series for a second year in a row.
