The Bruins play the front end of a B2B tonight versus the LA Kings. I would have thought the Bruins would have been effected a lot from the retirements of P. Bergeron and D. Krejci but have come out of the gates flying with a 3-0 record. Tonight they face a Kings team that they've totally dominated in the past winning the last 5 matchups in LA. The Kings have been lighting up the lamp of late scoring 12 goals over their last 2 games, but they play a sound defensive team in the Bruins. I like the Bruins to make it 6 straight wins in LA LA Land.

Anaheim Ducks +165

The Coyotes host the Ducks for their home opener this afternoon and unfortunately for the Coyotes I don't like the spot for them. They're returning from a long east coast road trip and then heading right back out on the road for a game on Tuesday in LA. Outside of their first game versus the Golden Knights, the Ducks looked good in their next 2 surprising the Canes 6-3 at home and playing the Stars tough in a 3-2 loss on Thursday. I know it is early in the season but the Ducks are well rested and have much less mileage on their bodies this early in the season. I like the Ducks to surprise the Coyotes this afternoon.

Arizona DBacks +110

The DBacks won in dramatic fashion last night scoring 3 runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to win 6-5 and even up this series at 2 games apiece. Could the DBacks accomplish what the Astros did last night and win 3 straight games in this series? Well the momentum is all on their side going into tonight's matchup. It will be Z. Wheeler versus Z. Gallen on the mound, Gallen has been phenomenal at home this season with the DBacks winning 12 of his 16 home starts as he's sported a 2.47 home ERA. Wheeler has pitched well on the road this season (3.14 ERA) however, the Phillies have been less successful winning those games as they've only won 9 of 18. The DBacks are in a good place right now and I'll gladly back them as a home dog here again.
