The Flames play G4 of this 5 game east coast road trip in Columbus tonight versus the Blue Jackets, they're 1-2 so far on the trip and play a team tonight they should dominate. The Jackets are 1-2 on the season and haven't look good in the 2 games they've lost, losing both by multiple goals. The projected starters in goal are J. Markstrom and E. Merzlikins, Merzlikins has played well in 2 starts (1.84 GAA) this season but you have to expect some sort of regression his career stats are much worse than that. I like the Flames to light up the lamp several times tonight and win by multiple goals.

NJ Devils -119

After the season the Devils last year, I'm sure a 1-1-1 start to this season was not expected by many. There is plenty of time left and there is no need to worry at the moment. however, the slow starts for T. Meier, N. Hischier & O. Palat could be of concern. The Isles are definitely getting great goaltending from I. Sorokin and as usual their offense isn't great with only 4 goals in 2 games. I think the Devils offense will get clicking eventually and I don't think the Isles will be able to go head to head in that category tonight. I like the Devils to get a win on Long Island.

Texas Rangers -106

The Rangers were heading home 2-0 in ALCS and feeling good about themselves, well all the Astros have done is punch them in the mouth the last 2 games 8-5 & 10-3 to even up this series. We go back to the G1 starters in J. Verlander and J. Montgomery for tonight in which should be another exciting game. I feel this is a more of a must win game for the Rangers than the Astros tonight, if the Rangers lose a third straight I think they're done heading to Houston for G6. Montgomery has solid in G1 and was able to contain the Astros lefty hitters with his changeup. I don't think the Rangers will lose all 3 games at home in this series, I will back them tonight to get the win behind Montgomery and another solid start.
