The Rangers host the Astros tonight in G3 of the ALCS. The Rangers have looked great in the first 2 games of this series and have yet to lose a game during the postseason as they've won 7 straight. J. Verlander pitched well in G1 and F. Valdez was battered around in G2, tonight's starter C. Javier will have to be spot on to avoid going down 3-0 in this series, and unfortunately for him and the Stros if tonight goes anything like his only start versus the Rangers this season (8 ER in 4.1 IP) it will be a long night. I like Scherzer and the Rangers tonight.

Ottawa Senators -1.5 +144

The Senators and their high powered offense host the Capitals tonight, the Sens have scored a combined 13 goals over their first 3 games and are clicking offensively right now. A. Forsberg is the likely starter in this game for the Sens and he performed well in his only start of the season. He also played very well in his only start versus the Caps last season stopping 22 of 24 shots in a 5-2 win. The Caps are struggling offensively scoring a combined 2 goals in 2 games and I expect those struggles to continue tonight.

Pittsburgh Penguins/Detroit Red Wings O6.5 -120

The Penguins visit the Red Wings tonight, the Penguins offence has woken up after a rough showing in their first game versus the Blackhawks, they hit the twine 9 times over their last 2 games. The Red Wings for their part have either scored 4 goals or given up 4 goals in every one of their 3 games this season. Both teams will be able to get to 7 goals combined tonight.
