The Habs host the Panthers tonight in Montreal on the back end of a B2B after beating the Blue Jackets on the road last night. The Habs have confirmed C. Primeau in goal for tonight and he hasn't really proven much in 4 starts this season with a 3.40 GAA and .898 save percentage. The Panthers look to rebound from a shootout loss to the Leafs in which they thought they had won, but upon review the was a goal denied because of a double tap by an Panther shooter. The Habs have had zero success on B2B this season as they sit at 0-3 and have been outscored with regularity in this spot, I like the Panthers to win in regulation and for this game to go over the total.

The Caps got their first win on their west coast trip last night versus the Kings, now they have to play a B2B versus the Ducks that have lost 7 straight. I can see this as a let down spot for the Caps as they finally got a win on this trip and play down to the level of competition in the Ducks that aren't playing well. Personally, the line speaks volumes for me here, as we have the Caps whom are 5 games over .500 at 11-6-2 on the season but are only a -120 favorite versus a team in a serious tailspin. This has the writing of the Caps coming out flat tonight and losing this game. I will back the Ducks tonight.
