Speaking of the Leafs, they were luckily to come up victorious last night as they blew a 4-1 lead and needed a shootout to beat the Flames 5-4. This really isn't a good spot for the Leafs as they will be on a B2B and 4th game in 6 nights. Waiting for them are the Canucks which have won 8 of their last 10 games, are scoring 4 plus goals per game with ease and have a Vezina candidate 12 games in with T. Demko. The Leafs have already confirmed I. Samsonov in goal and the numbers don't lie with him, a 4.11 GAA and .855 save percentage doesn't exude much confidence. I will back the team playing better hockey as a dog.

Edmonton Oilers -119

The Oilers are in Seattle to face the Kraken looking to end a 4 game losing streak and the worst phase of the C. McDavid era in Edmonton (8 losses in 9 games). You have to figure the Oilers hit the absolute rock bottom in their last loss versus the Sharks, which was only their 2nd win of the season. I have to think the McDavid and Draisaitl can get this team going and if they can't you, outside of their offensive talents you really have to question their leadership capabilities. Player to player the Oilers are the much more talented team, I'll back them to end this streak at a low price.

LA Kings -1.5 +104

The Kings host the Flyers tonight, the Flyers will be playing their last game on the west coast before heading back to the east coast before one more road game in Carolina and then heading home. The Flyers will be on a B2B and 3rd in 5 nights and fatigue will play a factor in this matchup. The Kings had their 4 game winning streak snapped on Thursday versus the Pens which was the last game of our Payday Parlay that cashed on that night. However, the Kings have been great of late winning 6 of their last 8 mainly due to the play of goalie C. Talbot whom has only given 2 goals in a once over his last 5 starts. I like the Kings by multiple goals here.
