Two Canadian teams that are struggling mightily face off tonight when the Flames visit the Leafs. The Flames play the 2nd game of a 4 game east coast road trip that still have games versus the Sens and Habs remaining. The Flames have disappointed to this point of the season and the same old issues that they had last season are being repeated this season, J. Huberdeau getting benched and a lack of good goaltending haven't helped. Tonight D. Vladar and J. Woll have been confirmed as the starting goalies, Vladar has a 4.00 GAA and .844 save percentage over 3 starts while Woll has been regressing big time of late. If I have to back an offense in this matchup it would be that of the Leafs, I see this game flying over the total and the Leafs winning by multiple goals.

Buffalo Sabres -.5 +133 regulation

The Wild play the back end of a B2B tonight versus the Sabres after losing to the Rangers 4-1 last night. They Wild looked flat last night to start the game only registering 2 shots in the first period and then only 9 in the 3rd period with the game tied at 1, they would eventually give 3 goals in the 3rd period in the loss. Now they have to play the Sabres that are well rested having not played since Tuesday. The Wild have confirmed P. Gustavsson in goal and he hasn't been good this season with a terrible GAA of 4.88 in 6 starts. I like the Sabres to get the job done in regulation.
