The Mets and Reds play the rubber game of their 3 games series this afternoon. Things aren't going well in Queens as the Mets are one game under .500 have dealt with a tone of injuries and players underperforming. Today's starter K. Senga has been a bright spot for the Mets this season with a 4-1 record and ERA under 3.50. The Reds are going with a bullpen game as D. Law will start and it will be a patch job the rest of the way. The starting lineups are out and the Mets aren't resting any starters, I like them here by multiple runs.

San Diego Padres -127

This is another series where today is the rubber game when Y. Darvish faces B. Ober on the mound. As crazy as it sounds statistically speaking the Twins have the better starter on the mound but let's be honest Darvish has a better track record here. Ober is 2-0 with an ERA of 0.98 but we have to look at his opponents, he's pitched versus the Nats, Royals & Guardians, far from the best offensive clubs in the majors. Today he will face his stiffest test of the season and I like him to come back down to reality. I like the Padres to take this series.

Carolina Hurricanes -129

The Devils got their G4 victory to avoid the sweep in this series but I think this is where it ends for them. No game has been competitive in this series as every game has had a minimum of a 4 goal differential. The Canes have just playing better in this series and the Devils are a young team and I think they will have to go through the process of learning from playoff failure to take that next step, as the Canes have done over the last couple of postseasons. I like the Canes to take that next step and reach the Eastern Conference Finals win a win tonight.
