Philadelphia Phillies -1.5 +147

The Phillies are in Seattle for G2 of this series versus the Mariners. The Mariners bats are really struggling as of late. In their last 10 games they’ve scored over 3 runs in a game only once an ironically still lost that game 8-7. Tonight the face A. Nola who’s pitched relatively well to start the season, for the Mariners it will be R. Ray and he has clearly underperformed after cashing in on his Cy Young season in 2021. It not hard to back the Phillies here to win by more than one run the way the Mariners are hitting lately.

Tampa Bay Lightning +115

A big G5 awaits us between the Bolts and Leafs tonight. Both teams split their home games and the series is tied at 2 games apiece. It’s not a stretch to say that neither team looked particularly good in their losses, so the question now becomes, do I want to place my faith in a team that has won B2B Stanley Cups or a team mired in playoff misery for decades now to win a crucial G5. I will back the playoff experience of the Bolts over the Leafs any day! Bolts win tonight.

Minnesota Wild -1.5 +162

We have a possible momentum shifting G5 between the Wild & Blues tonight. With the series tied at 2 games apiece, with a win the Wild can head back to St Louis with a chance to close the series on the road. The Blues seem to have moved on from V. Husso in goal and are going with J. Binnington for the second straight game. Before winning his last start Binnington had lost 7 straight games in the playoffs, he also wasn’t great in the regular season either. I think last game was more of outlier for him that what we can expect moving forward. The Wild were one of the strongest home teams in the NHL this season and I expect them to hold serve here tonight with a big win.
