The Rangers are in Buffalo to face the Sabres; the Sabres still have an outside chance of making the playoffs but continue to lose games they shouldn’t which is crippling their chances. Tonight they face the Rangers and will be going with their fourth goalie of the season in D. Levi, Levi is their top goaltending prospect but I’m not sure this is the ideal situation to introduce him to the NHL. The Rangers have totally dominated this matchup winning 9 of the last 10 games and I expect that to continue even with Levi starting for the Sabres
Detroit Red Wings/Winnipeg Jets U6 -106
The Red Wings are in Winnipeg to face the Jets; the Jets need to send an internal memo within the locker room to let remind themselves that they’re in the middle of a playoff race. They’re offense has fallen off the map scoring a combined 9 goals over their last 8 games and if it were not for the play of C. Hellebucyk they’d probably on the outside looking in, Hellebuyck was able to steal 3 games for them during this brutal stretch. The Jets have played 7 straight unders and there is no reason to believe that they will break out of this slump tonight. Give me the under here.
Los Angeles Dodgers -.5 -123 1st 5 innings
The Dodgers host the DBacks for game 2 of this 4 game series, the Dodgers fell behind 2-0 yesterday but then went on to score 8 unanswered runs in an 8-2 victory. Tonight we have M. Kelly versus D. May on the mound, May has all the stuff necessary to be the ace of a staff but injuries have plagued him over the last 2 seasons, he’s currently as healthy as he’s ever been! M. Kelly pitched 5 times versus the Dodgers last season and the DBacks lost all 5 times and the Dodgers were leading after the first 5 innings on all 5 occasions. I will back the Dodgers here to be leading Kelly and the DBacks again after 5 innings.
