The Preds are in LA to face the Kings tonight; the Kings are off a big road win over the Avs Thursday night in which they dominated from puck drop. Now they face the Preds that are towards the tail end of a 6 game road trip. The Preds started the road trip well winning the first 2 games but now have dropped 2 straight and didn’t looked particularly good in their last loss to the Yotes 4-1. The Kings have really looked great since the trade deadline having won 5 straight and don’t see them having an issue winning this game versus the Preds.

Dallas Stars/Seattle Kraken O6 -111

The Kraken host the Stars tonight; these 2 teams have played to the under more often than not this season. However, recently both teams have been scoring and giving up goals with regularity, The Stars are 5-0-1 to the over in their last 6 while scoring 4 goals or more in all 6 games while the Kraken have gone over in 5 of their last 8 games while scoring 3 or more goals in 7 of those 8 games. Even though both teams are projected to start their #1 goalies in this one, the trends point to a game where plenty of goals will be scored.

New York Islanders -139

The Caps are in Long Island to face the Islanders tonight; the Isles have won 3 straight and continue to battle for one of the two wild card spots in the Eastern Conference. They hold a 2 point lead over the Penguins and 4 point lead over the Panthers but both of them have games in hand on the Isles, so the Isles cannot take any games lightly going forward. This is the Isles last home game before heading out on a west coast road trip and those are normally difficult to have success on with travel and time zone changes, therefore, this feels like a must win game for them. Since the trade deadline the Caps have really had issues scoring with regularity and I see that continuing tonight. I like the Isles on home ice.
