The Mariners are in Texas to start a series versus the Rangers, it will be L. Castillo versus J. Gray on the mound. Both starters are having solid seasons to this point, with ERAs below 3 and are integral parts to each team's starting staff. Castillo's career resume speak for itself, but it is finally nice to see Gray have success after so many years of suffering by having to pitch have his games at Coors Field early on his career. The Mariners offense was in a rut in their series versus the Yanks scoring a combined 6 runs over 3 games, I like Castillo to be able to slow down the Rangers bats in a low scoring game.

LA Angels/Houston Astros U4 -113 1st 5 innings

The Angels and Astros play G2 of their 4 game series tonight. It will be a battle of aces when S. Ohtani goes up against F. Valdez, just like the matchup mentioned above between Castillo and Gray, it is the same for this game between Ohtani and Valdez. Both have sub 3.00 ERAs and should be able to subdue the other teams offense. Last night was a low scoring game and even though both sides have very solid bullpens I will go with the under in the first 5 innings which can allow us for a push at 4 as the game total is set at 7.5.

Tampa Bay Rays -133

The Red Sox host the Rays tonight for a weekend series between AL East opponents. The Rays continue their dominance of MLB at 40-18 and now face a Red Sox team that is struggling having lost 7 of their last 10 games. It will be T. Glasnow versus G. Whitlock on the mound, Glasnow will be making only his 2nd start of the season and was a little rusty giving up 3 runs in 4 plus innings but had his velocity going with 8Ks. Whitlock has either been off or on in his 4 starts this season, one of those coming versus the Rays when he gave up 5 runs in 5 innings. I expect more of that for him tonight versus the Rays and Glasnow to pitch better in his 2nd start.
