The Braves and Yanks play the rubber game of their three game series this afternoon when two lefties face off in M. Fried and N. Cortes, both starters have pitched well this season and look to continue that success this afternoon. Both have a sub 2.50 ERA over their last 7 starts, Fried looks to be back to Cy Young form while Cortes is really excelling at Yankee Stadium with a 1.57 ERA on the season. The first two games of this series have been high scoring with 9 runs in G1 and 11 yesterday, however, with these two starters I like a low scoring game. Fried put the Braves in a spot to win most of his starts as they've won 71% of them this season and I like that to happen here today.  

St Louis Cardinals -1.5 +173

The Cards look to sweep the Giants this afternoon when S. Gray faces L. Webb on the mound, both pitchers have pitched well overall on the season, however, there is a glaring split for Webb that really favors the Cards here, Webb and the Giants have real issues winning his road starts as his ERA sits at 3.86 with the Giants losing 7 of those 9 road starts. That will be a real issue today versus Gray who is pitching really well at Busch Stadium this year with a 1.55 ERA and never allowing more than 3 ER in a home start. Gray has dominated good offenses like the O's, Brewers and Phillies at home and will be able to do the same to the Giants today. I like the Cards on the run line.
