Val’s Big Payday Parlay January 18th 2023

Val

After several days of going 2-1 and missing the parlay by a game, we hit one last night at +517, the Wild held their lead in the 3rd period and the over in the Kraken/Oilers game cashed by the middle of the 3rd period as well, however, it wasn't without its excitement needing the Leafs to win in OT. Let's get another tonight!

Ottawa Senators -102

The Sens host the Penguins tonight at Canadian Tire Centre; the Penguins are really struggling at the moment having lost 7 of their last 10 games and their three wins were versus cellar dweller teams (Zona, Anaheim & Vancouver). The Sens aren’t playing great at the moment but have shown a propensity of surprising teams on home ice recently beating the Sabres & Bruins. The Sens will also be welcoming back forward J. Norris to the lineup after a 38 game absence, and he will definitely help the Sens on the offensive end. I like the Sens here at home over the Penguins.

Colorado Avalanche +114

The Flames host the Avalanche tonight in a matchup of two teams that have underperformed to preseason expectations. The Avs at least have injuries to stars N. MacKinnon & G. Landeskog to partly blame for their performance while the Flames lack of success is just due to the lack of production from their lineup from top to bottom. MacKinnon’s impact on the lineup is starting to show as the Avs have scored 13 goals over their last two games while he’s notched 6 points. The Flames are playing their first game back from a five game road trip and can see them coming out flat versus the Avs. I like the road dog here.

New York Knicks -230

The Knicks host the Wizards at MSG tonight. The Wizards are struggling at the moment having lost 5 of their last 6 games; the struggles are correlated to the injury to the star B. Beal. The Knicks (25-20) for their part are rolling now having won 7 of 10 and haven’t been five games over .500 this late in a season for many years. The trio of J. Brunson, J. Randle and RJ Barrett has propelled the Knicks to much success this season. The Wizards are not a good road team at 7-16 and that record was with Beal in the lineup, winning on the road will be a lot more difficult without him, I like the Knicks to win this game.
