LA Kings/St Louis Blues U6 +107

The struggling Kings are in St Louis to face the Blues this afternoon. I watched the full game between the Kings and Avs on Friday night and they honestly look disjointed on the offense end with a lack of effort. They had several power play opportunities when they couldn't even get more than 2 shots on goal mainly due to players not moving and just passing the puck back and forth. Kings goalie C. Talbot was pulled last game after 3 goals in the first period and replaced by D. Rittich and I expect Rittich (1.86 GAA) to get the start as he's played much better than Talbot of late. With Rittich in goal and the Kings struggling to create scoring chances I like the under here.

Columbus Blue Jackets/Seattle Kraken O6 -114

The Jackets are in Seattle to face the Kraken tonight, both sides are really struggling of late. The Jackets have lost 7 of their last 10 games while the Kraken 5 of their last 6. Goaltending has been an issue all season and continues to be one for Columbus. The combination of E. Merzlikins and D. Tarasov have given up 3+ goals in 7 of their last 8 games. Kraken goalies haven't performed any better as they've given up 3+ goals in 6 of their last 7. Both sides are struggling to save pucks and giving up goals with regularity, so I will back the over in this game.

Detroit Lions +7 -105

The Lions and 49ers play for opportunity to get to the Super Bowl tonight. What a change HC D. Campbell has had on this organization from a confidence perspective. The players love him and go all out every weekend to perform at their best. They have quality as key players at key positions on the offensive end in S. Laporta TE, A. St-Brown WR and the combo of D. Montgomery & J. Gibbs at RB. They definitely have some holes on the defensive end but their effort level is there. I know you cannot judge a team on one game, but the 49ers looked very vulnerable last week and as Packers HC M. Lafleur said "we didn't do enough to put the 49ers away". Well I can promise you this, D. Campbell always goes for the jugular and will not play conservatively if the Lions have the lead. I like the Lions to keep this game close.
