The Blues are in Calgary to face the Flames tonight, someone has to explain to me what the Flames have accomplished this season to warrant being a -225 favorite over the Blues tonight! They have lost 4 straight with 3 of the losses versus really bad teams in Montreal, Vancouver & Columbus. Their goaltenders haven’t played well all season; the likes of N. Kadri and J. Huberdeau have underperformed. Is this line -225 because the Flames 10-5 on home ice and the Blues are on a B2B? Well the Blues are 4-2 in B2B situations this season, so there goes that advantage. The Flames aren’t that good and the signs prove it, give me the Blues at +195 all day!

Arizona Coyotes +157

The Coyotes host the Islanders tonight in what will only be their 7th home game of the season, due to their 5,000 seat arena not being ready at the beginning of the season. The Coyotes have played well in their last 3 games, beating the Bruins (no one saw that happening) then beating the Flyers and losing their last game in a tight one 3-2 to the Sharks. The Islanders come into this game having lost 5 of their last 7 games and may take the Coyotes lightly and up on the losing side of another game. I will back the home dog here.

Toronto Raptors +105

The Raptors look to end their 3 game losing streak when the host Nets tonight. The Raptors haven’t look good losing twice to the Magic and blowing a lead versus the Kings. But tonight I like them to come prepared versus a team like the Nets, they clearly looked like they took the Magic and Kings lightly and it cost them victories. I think Coach N. Nurse will have them prepared to compete tonight. The Nets are 7-7 on the road this season so they can clearly lose on any given night; the Nets have won 2 straight on the road and I’m not convinced they can make it 3 in a row versus a team like the Raptors. I will back another home dog.
