The Giants and Nats play G3 of their 4 game series tonight, it will be B. Snell versus J. Irvin on the mound. Snell will be making his 1st start since no hitting the Reds five days ago, Snell has been unhittable since the beginning of July allowing only 2 ER over 33 IP (5 starts) while posting a 0.55 WHIP. Everyone one of those 5 games went under the posted total. Irvin is also pitching well for the Nats with a 3.56 ERA this season, however, his performance has slipped a little of late posting a 4.75 ERA in July and didn't look to great versus the Brewers in his last start. Snell is totally in a zone right now and is an easy back in this situation for the game and going under the total.  

KC Royals -1.5 +147

The Royals look to salvage a game of this three game series tonight when C. Ragans takes on K. Crawford. The first two game of this series have been high scoring with 14 runs on Monday and 11 scored yesterday. Crawford has not pitched well of late as he's been hit around badly in three straight starts now, he stat line in those starts is as follows 15 IP 16 ER (9.60 ERA) with a 1.47 WHIP. Ragans has pitched well all season for the Royals with a 3.36 ERA and has been even better at Kaufman Stadium with a 2.86 ERA. Ragans made a start versus the Red Sox in July at Fenway, a game in which he dominated them in a 6-1 win. I expect more of that today from Ragans as the Royals avoid the sweep and with this game by multiple runs.
