The Habs host the Lightning tonight, the Lightning will be on a B2B of a big win over the Leafs last night and will be playing their 4th game in 6 nights. To say I don't like the spot for them versus a team out of the playoff race is an understatement, I think this is a huge let down spot for them. They will also probably be starting their backup goalie. The Have have confirmed C. Primeau in goal, and he's been fantastic of late giving up a one goal or less in 3 of his last 4 starts resulting in a 3-1 record and a .967 save percentage. With the Lightning exhausted this late in the season and their playoff place secured I see them coming up short versus the Habs. 

Pittsburgh Penguins -109

The Pens visit the Caps tonight in another battle of S. Crosby versus A, Ovechkin, the Caps are fighting for their playoff lives and have now lost 3 straight at the worst possible time. As mentioned in an earlier write up, from a metrics standpoint the Caps have no business being in the playoff picture, their goal differential -35 and just to give some perspective on that number, the Devils who sit 7 points out of a playoffs spot are only -13 and they've gotten spotty goaltending all season. The Pens have actually played really well of late winning 4 of their last 5 games with wins over the Rangers and Canes, I expect them to play hard and give the Caps fits and hurt their playoff chances with a win.

Calgary Flames/Winnipeg Jets O6 +105

The Flames are in Winnipeg to face the Jets, the Flames are really struggling having lost 6 of their last 7 games and are giving up goals in bunches. They've given up 3 plus goals in 5 of their last 6 games and are probably going with D. Wolf in goal and he's given up 4 goals or more in 2 of his last 3 starts. The Flames have at least looked competent on the offensive end scoring 10 goals over their last 3 games which have all gone over the total. The Jets for their part have surprisingly been giving up plenty of goals lately as well, they've given up 3 goals or more in 7 straight. I like these streaks for both sides to continue and this game go over the total.
