The Jays and Royals play the last game of this four game series this afternoon, the Jays won the opener, while the Royals have won the last two games. The Jays send their ace in J. Berrios to the mound while the Royals counter with C. Ragans. Berrios has been on point this season as his ERA sits at 0.85 and he's pitched 19 2/3 straight scoreless innings. Ragans got lite up in his last start by the O's and can't seem to get run support when he pitches. Ragans cannot seem to get run support from his team, outside his last start the Royals were averaging a little over 2 runs a game. That will not get it done versus BErrios and the Jays this afternoon. I like the Jays here as a dog.

SD Padres -1.5 +109

The Padres look to leave Colorado winning 3 of 4 games this afternoon when R. Vasquez faces D. Hudson on the mound. Vasquez will be making his 2nd start of the season as he's replaced Y. Darvish who's dealing with a neck issue.  Vasquez pitched well in his first start versus the Jays even though he took the loss, he was rolling until X. Bogaerts made an error with 2 outs which was followed by a 3 run homer and there you have it the Padres lost 5-2. The Padres face D, Hudson who sits at 0-4 with a 5.06 ERA on the season, the Rockies have lost 3 of his 4 starts by 2 runs or more. The main reason for that has been the fact that he allows way too many baserunners as his WHIP sits at 1.59. The Padres will be able to get to Hudson and then the Rockies bullpen to win this game by multiple runs. 

TB Lightning -109

After losing two tight games on the road, the Lightning return home for G3 versus the Panthers tonight. It is fair to say tonight is a must win game for the Lightning. They can keep their heads up high as they were in both games 1 and 2. Tonight they get the home crowd and final change to matchup as they choose versus the Panthers. There is too much playoff experience and talent with the likes of Kucherov, Stamkos and Hedman on this roster to believe they won't come out prepared and intense for this game. Power rankings and numbers can be put aside for playoff hockey as so many things change compared to the regular season. I like the Bolts here in a must win game tonight.
