The Padres look to run their win streak to 3 games tonight when D. Cease takes on W. Miley. The Padres were down early 3-1 last night but used a 6 run 5th inning to run away from the Brewers and win the game 7-3. The Padres offense has been rolling of late scoring as they've scored 6 runs of more in 5 of their last 7 games, and should be able to get there versus the soft tossing W. Miley tonight. The Brewers will find life tough tonight versus Cease, who's found his confidence from 2 seasons ago when he was a Cy Young candidate with the White Sox. He hasn't given more than 2 ER in a start this season and is sporting a 2.16 ERA with a 0.84 WHIP. The Padres will score runs on Miley while Cease should dominate this Brewers lineup to cover the run line.  

Arizona DBacks -1.5 +163 & CHicago Cubs/Arizona DBacks O10 -115

The Cubs and DBacks play G2 of thier 3 game series tonight in Zona, the Cubs won the opener last night 3-2 in extras, it will be K. Hendricks and T. Henry on the mound. I expect fireworks in this game as neither starter has been particularly good this season. Hendricks has been really bad giving up a minimum of 5 ER in all 3 of his starts with all 3 games going over the total with a minimum of 12 runs in each. Henry has pitched slightly better but still has a 5.79 ERA with 2 of his 3 starts going over the total. As I mentioned in a write last week when we went against Hendricks, he fastball tops out in the mid 80's, so if his off speed pitches aren't on point he's more or less a BP pitcher as he can't blow the ball past MLB batters. So far he hasn't be able to get those off speed pitches to move leaving him and the Cubs vulnerable. I like the DBacks on the run line and this game to go over the total.
