The Wild and Kings play their 2nd to last games of the season tonight in LA, the Wild are officially eliminated for the playoffs while the Kings are playing for playoff positioning. The Kings could finish in 3rd of the Pacific division and face the Oilers or could just as likely finish 7th or 8th and have to play either the Canucks or Stars, so much will be decided in the next 3-4 days. Just because a team needs to win doesn't always mean they will, just look at how many games the Flyers and Caps have lost in the last 2 weeks fighting for their playoff lives. The Kings have feasted on weak teams in the last week and a half only beating the Ducks, Flames, Sharks and Kraken, with their only quality win versus the Canucks. Even though the Wild are out of the playoff picture, they're a step up in competition here, I like them to surprise the Kings.      

SD Padres +102 & SD Padres/Milwaukee Brewers U8.5 -110

The Padres are in Milwaukee to face the Brewers tonight, the Padres travelled from LA last night after taking 2 of 3 games from the Dodgers over the weekend. The Brewers returned home from Baltimore where they also won 2 of the 3 games over the weekend. The Padres send J. Musgrove to the mound while the Brewers will start J. Ross. Ross have been pretty solid in his 2 starts for the Brewers only allowing 2 ER over 10 IP, Musgrove for his part hasn't been very good over his 4 starts so far this season. However, with that being said Musgrove is one of the better pitchers in the NL and will turn things around, I think that starts tonight versus a Brewers team that their starting 9 shouldn't strike fear in opposing starters. We also have L. Barksdale behind the plate calling balls and strikes and he has a large strike zone with 3 of his 4 games called going under with an average of 15 Ks per game. I like the Padres and the under in this game.
