Val's WTA Charleston Open Play Round 3

Another win yesterday B. Nakashima made quick work of R. Hijikata in straight sets. Today we move to the WTA for our play.

American E. Navarro takes on Romanian J. Cristian in the 3rd round of the Charleston open this afternoon. Navarro made real quick work of her 2nd round opponent K. Volynets 6-1 6-1 in little over 1hr, Cristian had a nice surprise victory over M. Keys in her 2nd round match but will probably hit a wall versus Navarro today. Clay is by far Navarro's best surface to play on and that is saying a lot considering how much success she's had on the hard court this season at 20-7. Cristian has had success on clay as well, but a lot of that success has come versus lesser quality opponents, none of which are close to Navarro. I expect Navarro to make quick work of Cristian like she did Volynets yesterday. I like Navarro -5 games.
