Find out how the sharp report performed throughtout its different sections.

On a weekly basis, we will review the performance of each section in the Sharp report. We will also review and comment on the previous week and try to identify sections to follow or fade.

Here is how the sections of the sharp reports have performed from Jan 18th to the 23rd plus a quick review of the previous week.

  • The Sharp money section lost 1.52 units. It was strong in the NHL winning ~ 3.45 units

  • The Sportsbook liabilities section lost -7.28 and the best approach here is to fade these plays however tail them on big events or big games.

  • The squares top plays section was up 5.03 units and this is now a great section to tail. These guys are regular joes however at a sharp book therefore a little better than that regular joe going and playing his ticket 2 min before tip-off with 6 beers in their system. The best plays to tail were in the NHL and CBB. Combined they are up 10.21 units

  • The best model plays were very hot the previous week gaining 6.02 units. Cooled down a little this week losing 1.68 units.

  • The Whale, we love him and hate him. He didn't place a single bet in the NFL this weekend. He was down 2.09 units last week.

Previous week results: (Jan 11 to 17)

    Sharp money +17.53 units
    Sportsbook liabilities -7.79 units
    Squares top plays -10.88 units
    Best model plays: +6.02 units
    The Whale -0.36 unit

Notes and observations:

We can see less volatility in sharp money plays.... up +17 last week however just down 1.52 units this week

Sportsbook liability plays are consistent in losses WoW hence the recommendation to fade these plays unless it's a big game or events where we saw this weekend how they destroyed it in the NFL

The model's plays have also been consistent with respectable winnings on hot weeks and small losses on down weeks.

The Square plays are were you will find the most ups and downs and the swings/gaps are bigger/wider than any other section. Down almost 11 units last week, Squares won 5 units this week however up close to 11 units in 2 sports! They tend to target big MLB and NHL
favourites, therefore, their winning % is high however the ROI is lower

The Whale either goes on killer streaks or losses a couple of units here and there. We will get a better idea when we have a larger sample size to analyze.
