The Sharp Report Review for 2022

Ok gents, what have we learnt since Jan 2022.

Tailing the Sharp money has been the most profitable avenue. You might not get the best lines but the winning % and units trump all other sections. 55% win rate on a sample size of 1158 bets and + 53 units. NHL is the best sport to tail, followed by MLB and NBA. Pay attention to the numbers, the NHL returned a profit every month, NBA 4 of 5 months and MLB ran hot in April but cooled off in May.

As for the SportsBook liability plays we learnt one thing, it's effective to fade when there are many sports going on at the same time. When there is an average of 225 plays per month, it losses about 27 units and fading the plays is very profitable. In April and May, the plays dropped by half (less NHL, NBA... no NFL, CFB ect) and fading those plays are not as effective as in JAN-FEB-MAR.

Squares are volatile AF however we have a pattern of a good month followed by a bad month. Every month they lose next month they turn a profit. April was at +11 units and in May they were at -13 units. Timing the plays have no correlation and if they start the month on a shitty month you fade or just leave it alone.

The best model plays will provide less volume but more quality. Also, the performance has less volatility and on a bad month you will not lose more than 5 units and on good months (like May) it's at +13 units.

The Whale has been down every month but his plays also carry low volatility ie you won't win 20 units one month and lose 50 units the other. I expected better from this info I'm getting.

In conclusion:

Tail the sharp money plays on the last update of the day (4-5 pm EST).

Fade the book liability plays when more than 3 sports are going on at the same time (season) or always fade but don't expect the same return as in Jan-Feb and Mar.

Tail the squares after a bad month

Tail the best model plays

Tail the whale if other sections of the SR agree

As for tier 1 plays, they have returned over 100 units since we started tracking and 175 units since we started Beat the bookie over on the DFS site.
