The Sharp Report for September 1, 2023

This article will be updated throughout the day as I get updates from the sportsbook that I have access to. 

Each section will be explained below, and the time will be added each time the Sharp Report is updated. You can use this information to make your own picks or tail the hot sections. Historically, Sharp bets, Whale plays, Model plays, and square have done very well. Keep in mind that this information comes from a sharp / market maker sportsbook, and the squares (public) playing there are more experienced than regular joe's betting on retail books therefore, you can find success in tailing the public.

Goodbye August and Welcome September!! This means NFL!!! CFB on Saturdays!! This means NBA and NHL are around the corner!!! Also means MLB playoffs!! Most probably the best time of the year for me but my wife HATES it!

My last 10 days of August were tough. I was up close to 11 units but ended up at +3.812.

@stengelbengal had a fantastic month ending at +20 units! I have audited everyone else picks yet but I believe @mutt18 finished at -1.7 units while @madnessdfsstaff cashed in about 4.2 units. Lastly @statsational finished the month at -2.9 units.

As for the sharp report, sharps lost 3.8 units and this brings them to +60.71 units for the year.

The book liabilities lost 2.81 units and are down -86.29 units for the year solidifying the fade strategy!

Squares took a beating and lost 23.43 units in August and they continue to be full fades. They lost 73.63 units in 2023.

The model plays lost another 5 units in August while the Whale barely made a profit winning 80k.

Sept 2022 was a decent month for the sharps in NFL and CFB. Combined they won 7.28 units. MLB was bad losing close to 10 units.

The book took a massive beating losing 24.15 units (20units roughly in NFL and CFB) I told my wife she needs to fade all these plays in September.

The Squares lost 2.42 units in Sept 2022 however while everyone was getting killed in MLB they generated just over 9 units in profits. They we heavily invested in betting high favorites.

Updated around 4 pm, in this section, you will find the top plays that the book will cheer for since they took large sums of money on the opposite teams. I know the house always wins; however, this info comes from a sharp book, and these plays have been the most consistent when they are faded, especially when there is no public interest on the other side.
