The Sharp Report for April 7, 2022

This article will be updated throughout the day as I get updates from the sportsbook that I have access to.

Each section will be explained below and the time will be added each time the Sharp Report is updated. This information can be used for you to make your own picks or just tail the sections that are hot. Historically, Sharp bets, Whale plays, Model plays, and square have done very well. Keep in mind that this information comes from a sharp / market maker sportsbook and the squares (public) playing there are more experienced than regular joe's betting on retail books therefore you can find success in tailing the public.

I welcome the MLB with open arms! Tier 1 plays have been on a terrible run and i will be putting aside NHL and NBA for a while and focus only on MLB.

Sharp money went 2-6 and it continues to be a struggle in the NHL and NBA. Fading the book went 2-2, Squares 0-2 and the best model plays 0-1.

The Whale went 2-0 and on a 6-3 run

Sharp money plays:

These are plays where we have sharp bettors on one side of a game. Throughout the day, it's possible that a different set of sharp might find interest on the other side of the game. If that happens, I will remove the play during an update.

The whale is one of the biggest bettors at the sportsbook. He's a sharp bettor with high betting limits and is highly respected.

Sportsbook liabilities:

Updated around 4 pm, in this section, you will find the top plays that the book will be cheering for since they took large sums of money on the opposite teams. I know the house always wins however this info comes from a sharp book and these plays have been the most consistent when they are faded
