The Sharp Report for April 11, 2022

This article will be updated throughout the day as I get updates from the sportsbook that I have access to.

Each section will be explained below and the time will be added each time the Sharp Report is updated. This information can be used for you to make your own picks or just tail the sections that are hot. Historically, Sharp bets, Whale plays, Model plays, and square have done very well. Keep in mind that this information comes from a sharp / market maker sportsbook and the squares (public) playing there are more experienced than regular joe's betting on retail books therefore you can find success in tailing the public.

The NBA season is over and it's time for some playoffs! The MLB season is in full swing, the NHL is about to be over in less than 2 weeks and this means summer is around the corner!!

Sharp money likes to follow value and underdogs early in the year but it didn't work out yesterday going 1-4 in the MLB and 6-8 for the day.

Fading the book and NBA plays 5-3 and 6-4 for the day!

Squares went 4-3 and on an 18-8 run.

The best model plays swept the MLB and on an 8-1 run the MLB. Overall 3-2 for the day.

The Whale went 0-1-1

These are plays where we have sharp bettors on one side of a game. Throughout the day, it's possible that a different set of sharp might find interest on the other side of the game. If that happens, I will remove the play during an update.

The whale is one of the biggest bettors at the sportsbook. He's a sharp bettor with high betting limits and is highly respected.

Updated around 4 pm, in this section, you will find the top plays that the book will be cheering for since they took large sums of money on the opposite teams. I know the house always wins however this info comes from a sharp book and these plays have been the most consistent when they are faded

Square top positions:

It is a strategy to bet against the public however as mentioned above, these regular joes are pretty good. In this section, you will find picks that the public is heavy on. This section is updated around 4 pm also, the time to be able to gather enough data throughout the course of the day.
