Statsational PGA Model and Wyndham Championship Bets

Sedgefield CC is a par 70 stretching out to 7,131. The Bermuda greens should be running a 12 on the Stimp. The tour has not been on Bermuda since the Zurich in April.

The primary rough will start at 2.5 inches and grow out during the weekend. The weather seems to be favorable for scoring. Last year the field averaged just under 69 per round in similar conditions. You will need to convert your birdie opportunities this week to win.

As always, I will use the model to find the best value plays on the board. We had very little risk last week, and we nearly cashed in big. We wind up with two golfers T2 in Young and Pendrith. Winning golf futures is tough! This week I will be playing just Win bets. We have low risk with just 0.19 units in play.

Sungjae Im is our top golfer this week. His last time out he finished T2 at the 3M. He has 2 top 10's here in 3 chances. Im has the ability to go low if he gets the putter going. He is a middle-of-the-pack type of putter ranked 61st in SG Putting. But he excels at hitting greens and getting up and down when he misses. I expect a lot of greens hit this week, we just need to convert.

Our next best shot should come from Russell Henley. Henley hopes to make up for last year. He held the lead in the first 3 rounds only to lose it on Sunday and finish T7. Russell finished with a T10 last week and should be poised to make a run at the title this week. He is another guy who has to have things going well for his putter. His SG Putting is -.047. He rarely misses greens as his 70.75% GIR shows.
