PGA AT&T Byron Nelson
We came close to winning last week as we had the 2nd and 3rd place golfers. The worst part is Wyndham Clark was the next golfer I would have taken. Situated approximately ten miles away from the future site of the PGA of America headquarters, TPC Craig Ranch finds itself in close proximity. The forthcoming headquarters will house two championship courses, with one of them slated to host the prestigious 2027 PGA Championship. At TPC Craig Ranch, golfers are presented with an array of challenges. These include a mix of short Par 4s, such as the reachable 14th hole spanning a mere 330 yards, and three Par 3s that stretch beyond 215 yards. Notably, the 7th hole boasts the longest Par 3, measuring 232 yards. As for the Par 5s, their average distance stands at a modest 558 yards, with the final hole on the front nine being the lengthiest Par 5, spanning 569 yards. However, the primary defense of this course lies in its susceptibility to wind. When the winds pick up, precision becomes paramount, heightening the significance of accuracy in shot-making.
We will go with all picks to win the tournament outright this week.
