As we continue to build the app and make it more robust, we will be adding new sports and models to the app. While our developers work on that, we want to give you as much information as possible via content and articles.

I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and if the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR OCT 18, 2022

No games to review for yesterday.

The model was right about the value on Boston and the under in Seattle last night but wrong on the Jets.

Tonight we have the Bruins once again and the Ducks. If the total drops to 6 in New Jersey there is some value on the over.

The Bruins are on a back-to-back tonight and had to travel therefore that alone will keep me away from the game. The model liked Boston in their first 2 games and I don't think this is a spot we should support them. This could be a spot for Ottawa to get their first victory of the year after losing to Buffalo and Toronto.

The Devils keep on underperforming and step most of last year being best values, especially on the road. Unfortunately, the books kept overvaluing them last year and it seems to be the case this year. They opened at -175 and the line flew to -195 which opened close to 15% EV on the Ducks. Anaheim is struggling early on in nets allowing 17 goals in 3 games and giving up 6 PP goals in 3 games this season. The Devils were bad on the PP last year however this Ducks PK looked terrible in NY last night and in Seattle 6 days ago. The Ducks are playing their second second in 2 nights, it was a short trip to Jersey however the Devils are well rested and I wouldn't support the value on the Ducks.
