I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and the game is on home turf.

You should all play around with these and track them yourselves. See if you are seeing those with a significant edge losing often.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR May 10, 2023

The Leafs find themselves in a precarious position, with the possibility of a sweep looming. However, they may be determined to secure a victory on home ice this Friday, which could motivate them to perform better tonight. Despite their regular-season successes, the Leafs' roster appears ill-equipped for the playoffs, and the Panthers have exploited this weakness.

It's worth noting the parallels between the Leafs and the Panthers' situation last season. After winning the Presidents' Trophy, the Panthers were swept in the second round, prompting their GM to trade their top scorer and two key defensemen to the Flames. This drastic change appears to have benefited the team, as evidenced by their current performance. The Panthers were "rebuilt" for the playoff.

In this series, the under is 0-3, with a similar outcome expected tonight. The underdog has a 6-0 record in the last six meetings (Florida 4-2), and the road team has won 5 out of the last 6 games. Woll will be stepping in for the injured Samsonov, which may impact the Leafs' performance in a positive way based on his season numbers however we are not sure he will perform in an elimination game.

Although the Leafs face an uphill battle, it's important to remember that sweeping a team in the playoffs is a challenging feat. This fact alone could provide some hope for Leafs fans and bettors alike.

Expect a strong comeback from the Edmonton Oilers tonight, similar to the Dallas Stars' recent performance.

After scoring an impressive 20 goals in their previous four games, the Oilers were limited to just one goal in game three. This marked the first time they scored only one goal in the playoffs.

Game three was also the first playoff game in which Leon Draisaitl failed to register a point and only the second playoff game where Connor McDavid did not earn a point. Following their disappointing performance at home in game three, the Oilers are expected to put on a much better showing in game four, led by their two superstar players.
