I will post my MLB. NFL and NHL models as often as possible.

Reading the model is very simple. We are looking for EVs of over 5% on sides and 8 to 10% on totals. Sportsbooks tend to inflate lines on big favorites. I love to take a big underdog in those spots if they have a good pitcher on the mount and the game is on home turf.

NHL BETTING MODEL FOR JUNE 8, 2023


In the most recent clash, my wagers were placed on the Panthers, the game total going over, and the Stone Shots on Goal (SOG) prop. The Panthers' performance in the third period was a letdown, leaving me skeptical about their ability to match the high-octane Vegas attack, especially in the absence of any standout play from Bobrovsky, fondly known as 'Playoff Bob'.

While 'Playoff Bob' was nowhere to be found in Game 2, Adin Hill and the Vegas Golden Knights offensive machinery certainly were. This crushing 7-2 victory solidified their 2-0 lead in the series. Despite the Panthers having an edge in expected goals during Game 2, their most promising moments came too late in the game, with a significant goal deficit making these efforts less impactful.

With the Golden Knights leading most of the time in this series, their underlying statistics may not seem impressive, given the substantial amount of time spent maintaining their lead and focusing on defense. However, Vegas proves itself to be a more well-rounded team, with their player depth being a decisive factor moving forward.

In the last 12 encounters, the home team has an impressive 11-1 record. The Golden Knights, however, have managed only one victory in their last five visits to Florida.

Therefore, there is no doubt, the Golden Knights will be looking for another stellar performance from their goalie, Adin Hill, who has already exceeded expectations in the Final. However, I am not particularly concerned about Hill's performance. With Vegas managing to score four or more goals in 13 out of their 19 playoff games, the Panthers are up against a solid opponent, having only managed to score four or more goals in a third of their playoff games. The Panthers' offense has the potential to perform better, but reaching their full potential becomes exponentially more challenging with the Golden Knights bearing down on them. My lean is on Vegas to take a 3-0 lead.
