The New York Jets' transformation has been nothing short of dramatic. Rodgers' partnership with Nathaniel Hackett, his former offensive coordinator from Green Bay, is expected to be the linchpin of the Jets' offensive strategy. Their past synergy suggests that Rodgers' transition will be more than just a change of jersey; it's a strategic masterstroke.

But Rodgers isn't the only ace up the Jets' sleeve. The offensive lineup has been further fortified with the signings of Dalvin Cook and former Packers receivers, Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb. The Bills' offensive might, further exemplified by the partnership of Diggs and Gabe Davis, is well-supported by a robust offensive line. Their defense, despite recent playoff hiccups, remains one of the best. The safety duo of Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer is arguably one of the best in the league, even as the void left by Tremaine Edmunds looms large.

From a betting lens, trends offer intriguing insights. The Bills have a commendable record in Week 1 games against AFC East adversaries, often starting their campaigns on a strong note. Historically, they've scored the first touchdown in nine of their last ten games against AFC East opponents. However, the Jets, despite their September woes, present a renewed challenge. The energy of New York, especially on a poignant date like September 11, is bound to play a role. Rodgers, known for elevating his game under pressure, will be in the spotlight.

I'm a die-hard Bills supporter, and the prospect of facing the Jets is daunting. Initially, the Bills were favored at -1, but early bets favored them even more. Four days ago, the line peaked at -2.5, but there was a swift response with bets on the Jets, preventing the line from hitting -3. When the betting limits were fully lifted around 12pm EST, a few key players adjusted the line back to -2.5. We will not see a 3 pop-up.

The bottom line: While the Bills have been the AFC's gold standard in recent years, the Jets, with their revamped lineup and the Rodgers factor, are poised to mount a serious challenge. The smart money might just lean toward the Jets as per the sharp report and I am ready to slam the Jets at +3 or better but the chances of seeing that line are almost impossible. Playing on their home turf, Rodgers will undoubtedly be keen to make an early statement. Last season, the Jets' defense proved challenging for Allen. Over two matches, Allen managed just one touchdown pass, threw two interceptions, and had a completion rate of 55.7%. The atmosphere on Monday night will be electric, especially given the significance of September 11 in New York.

Hardman's over 16.5 receiving yards at -110 on Bet365 offers substantial value. The market has priced it as high as -130. While Caesars lists it at -115, their hold is 7.83% compared to Bet365's 4.76%. Given that difference, I'd be hesitant to place my bet with them. With Hardman's projection hovering just over 34 receiving yards, this bet presents a compelling value proposition.
