Here’s what we have for Week One!
Pittsburgh Steelers vs Buffalo Bills 1:00 pm
Buffalo is coming off of a solid season and they are giving up 6.5 points to the Steelers on Sunday. That number seems a bit too much considering Pittsburgh has one of the best defenses in all of football. Over their last six meetings the teams are 3-3 ATS but the Steelers have won five of their last six contests. Pittsburgh is 5-0 ATS over their last five as an underdog of between three and ten points and were 2-2 ATS last season as the road underdog. Buffalo might win this game but Pittsburgh should be able to cover the spread Sunday afternoon.

San Francisco 49ers vs Detroit Lions 1:00pm
Detroit has a new Head Coach, new starting quarterback and both teams have new defensive coordinators but San Francisco has the same Head Coach and a seemingly healthy football team on both sides of the line of scrimmage. That spells doom for a Lions team that allowed the most touchdowns (38) and the third most total yards in 2020. It will take a while for Detroit to come together as a football team and the 49ers should take care of business fairly easily on Sunday.

Seattle Seahawks vs Indianapolis Colts 1:00 pm
Seattle is a three-point road favorite and is coming off a 2020 where they were 1-5 ATS as the road favorite. Indianapolis hasn’t won a season opener in seven seasons and they have a new quarterback in Carson Wentz and a potent backfield duo of Marlon Mack and Jonathan Taylor. Seattle has the incomparable Russell Wilson at the helm and some serious weapons in wideouts Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf. Seattle is also 11-1 when playing in the 1:00 pm eastern time zone and I suspect they will leave Lucas Oil Stadium with a solid victory.

Denver Broncos vs New York Football Giants 4:30 pm
Neither of these teams were above .500 last season but Denver brought in quarterback Teddy Bridgewater to fix a passing game that had more interceptions than touchdowns. The Giants will get running back Saquon Barkely back and we are expecting more from Giants quarterback Daniel Jones. New York allowed 44 sacks last season but they’ve seemed to improve this during the offseason and I expect the Giants to cover the spread as home underdogs on Sunday.

Cleveland Browns vs Kansas City Chiefs 4:30 pm
This one is a rematch of last season's AFC Divisional playoff matchup that Kansas City won but failed to cover a 7.5 point spread. Kansas City has won 14 consecutive September contests and is favored by 5.5 points on Sunday. Kansas City was 7-1 ATS as a home favorite last season and they are essentially playing with the same team as 2020. Cleveland has nine new starters on defense, a rebuilt offensive line and is 0-16 over their last 16 season openers. Both offenses are better than the respective defenses but the Chiefs are at home and definitely have the edge in this one.
