College Basketball Picks 1/31/23

I have not been writing articles because of other circumstances at school, but if you have been following Instagram, I went up 18 units last week. On both Tuesday and Saturday, we went up 10 each day. The NFL caused the week to end negatively, but a net gain of 18 units is always good!

Here are the games I will be highlighting this today:
Indiana v. Maryland: The Hoosiers are HOT right now. Wins over Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan State, and Ohio State by double digits. Jalen Hood-Schifino is finally looking like the 5-star they recruited and is finally 100%. Trayce Jackson-Davis has returned to his normal ways as the second most dominant big man in the Big Ten behind Edey. The return of Race Thompson and the emergence of Trey Galloway has given the Hoosiers a huge boost as of late. One issue around the Hoosiers has been how much talent they have, and Mike Woodson has figured it out.

However, Maryland is no walk in the park. Led by Jahmir Young and Donta Scott, the Terps know how to play and will not step back in games. Against Purdue, they were down almost 20 and cut it to a one-possession game with a chance to send it to overtime. With wins over Miami and Illinois and a 3-point loss to Tennessee, the Terps have experience. They welcome the Hoosiers to College Park and open as 2.5-point favorites.
Betting Infomation:

• IU 4-6 ATS in last 10

• Maryland is 6-4 ATS in the last 10

• IU went 2-0 against the Terps last year

• My betting model predicts the Hoosiers to win by 3.5.

I am taking Indiana Moneyline at +128.

• Kansas State vs. Kansas: Kansas State -7.5

• West Virginia vs. TCU: TCU -3.5

• Texas A&M vs. Arkansas: Arkansas -3.5
