RECAP: We have finally turned a corner and hit the wall, my friends. We’ve lost three straight plays in the NBA, and when you don’t play a ton of volume, that’s where it can hurt. Nevertheless, we got hooked TWICE on Tuesday night, and last night’s play in the Denver game was toast as soon as it came out that Murray & Jokic were both playing. Let’s get it today!

There are four or five teams who are extremely young, but also extremely fun to watch in the NBA. Teams like the Thunder and Magic are high-flying and are beloved by the entire league, and the Indiana Pacers are starting to enter that conversation, too. Too bad we have to go against them today.

The Miami Heat are hosting the Indiana Pacers today in Florida for a matchup between two playoff-bound teams (or, at the very least, Play-In bound). Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat have started off well this season, even though he’s been hurt on and off throughout their games. The anchor for their team has been Bam Adebayo, with his 23/10/4 statline over his past five games played. And tonight, he’s got a great matchup against a Pacers team that can’t block down low.

The emergence of Jaime Jaquez, Jr. has also been a fun explosion to watch, as he’s quickly becoming the steal of the draft, putting up 15/4/3 off of the bench, or inserted into the starting lineup. Plus, the way he plays is so graceful and fun, and reminds me a lot of Haliburton, who will be on the other side of the ball today.

The Sharp App Money Handles tool is our best friend today, as we are getting this line at Miami Heat -1.5. The Sharp App AI sees this game as a larger difference than that, and will finish around -3.5. Currently, only 29% of all bets are on the Miami Heat, but they hold 74% of the money. As the line moves up today, and it will, those numbers will become more evenly distributed. That difference of 45% makes this a must-play using this strategy, so much so that we’re making it our NBA Bet of the Day. 

And who can blame us? This Miami defense has been really good to start the season, and this Pacers team has been really up-and-down this season when it comes to wins and losses. This Miami defense should be able to keep them in check. Both of these teams are around .500 when it comes to ATS betting, and when we see significant money on one side, we hammer it.

Take Miami -1.5 this morning before the line shifts, and let’s hope for a defensive resurgence from the Heat to stop this potent offense.
