The Lakers pulled away in the first half and never looked back, and thank god that Anthony Davis and Lebron James played - or else, we would have been screwed!

This is a line that will probably continue to move, but this play is rooted in ATS trends, the Sharp App Money Handles tool, and general belief. Sometimes, you just gotta believe. 

The Boston Celtics are hosting the Milwaukee Bucks in a game that most believe will be the Playoff matchup to go to the NBA Finals. While these two teams are still growing and working together, we’re seeing the Boston Celtics mesh in a really great way; Porzin-God is making his mark, and Jrue will definitely be amped up to face the team that let him go rather easily. 

Plus, the Celtics are a WAGON at home - they’re 5-0 to begin the year in the TD Garden, and they’re 4-1 ATS when they’re on home court. The Bucks are a genuinely great team, and a team that could exploit some parts of the Celtics we haven’t seen yet - but the Money Handles tool is what is driving me towards this play. 

The Celtics own just under 30% of the total bets placed on this game. And it makes sense - six points is a lot to lay in this game. But, they own just over 50% of the total money pooled in this game, resulting in a difference of 22%. This game has a lot of money on it, is going to be on the biggest screen possible in every home, and a game that they’ve had circled. The sample size is huge, and we have to get this number before the public gets to it. 

The Bucks are the #1 offense on the road, and are facing the #2 home defense in the league. The thing that pushes the Celtics in this matchup, though? They don’t foul. They rank in the top five in free throws allowed at home and they also play stellar takeaway defense, ranking in the top 8 in the opposing team’s total field goals. 

And if we flip the script, the Bucks don’t play defense much at all, nor do they play defense on the road. And they’re going up a top-five offensive team in the league at home, who ranks second in rebounding, and second in scoring at home. 

Six is a lot of points. The data told me to trust the Celtics tonight, and the money handles tool told me to trust the number. 1+1=2, and we ride with Boston tonight, with the points.
