The Flyers for their part are really struggling having lost 4 straight and 6 of their last 7 and their free fall down the Metro standings continues. The projected starters are J. Markstrom and C. Hart, the way the Flyer goalies have played, the advantage here lies with the Flames. The Flames are playing better hockey at the moment and have won 7 of the last 10 meetings versus the Flyers and should continue that dominance today.

Nashville Predators +139 & Nashville Predators/Dallas Stars O6.5 +105

The Preds are in Dallas to face the Stars tonight, the Preds had their 2 game winning snapped by the Flames on Thursday and try to get on the winning track. The Stars look to snap a 2 game losing streak as they've lost to the Habs and Avs. The Stars continue to have to start S. Wedgewood in goal as #1 J. Oettinger is still injured, Wedgewood is a serviceable backup but doesn't really have the skill set to play a lead role as his deficiencies get exposed with playing almost every game as can be seen by Stars last 10 games going over with an 8-2 record. The Preds will counter with J. Saros and in my opinion will clearly outplay Wedgewood here but still give up his 2-3 goals as he does on most nights. I like the underdog Preds here and the over.
