The Jets host the Lightning tonight in a game that will feature 2 of the better goalies in the league in A. Vasilevskiy and C. Hellebuyck. Of the two, Hellebuyck is having a much better season, 2.34 GAA versus 2.94. Also the Bolts have a losing record on the road this season at 7-10-2 while the Jets are one of the better home teams in the NHL at 12-5-2. The Jets have been without their best goal scorer in K. Connor for close to 3 weeks now and it really hasn't held them back as they've won 5 of their 7 games. I like the Jets by multiple goals tonight versus the Bolts.

Ottawa Senators/Vancouver Canucks O6.5 -120

We have a battle of two Canadian teams tonight when the Canucks host the Senators. The Sens have gotten a little better since interim HC J. Martin has taken over behind the bench. They've won 3 of their 6 games which is much better than they we're playing before him. The one issue he hasn't been able to resolve is goaltending, the combo of A. Forsberg and J. Korpisalo has just been brutal to watch on a nightly basis. The Sens have been scoring regularly since Martin was named HC and still give up plenty of goals, and the Canucks have a good offensive team, so I like the over here.

Toronto Maple Leafs +119

The Leafs head out on a 3 game road trip and probably need to get out of Toronto to avoid all the media attention of their bad play of late. The Leafs are scrutinized on a daily basis when they go through a stretch they're currently (3-7, last 10) going through. When you roster names like, Matthews, Marner, Nylander & Tavares, fans and the media do not expect stretches like the one they're currently in. With all that being said, the Leafs have too much talent on this roster not to turn things around, and playing a Kings team that hasn't looked great over its' last 2 games is that starting point. I like the underdog Leafs tonight.
