The Knights continue their road trip with a game versus the Panthers this afternoon, this trip hasn't been pretty so far with losses to the Canes 6-3 and the Bolts 5-4 two days ago. By the scores you can tell that goaltending has been an issue, the Knights are down to their 3rd string goalies as L. Thompson and A. Hill are both injured. Patera hasn't been very good when called upon in 2 starts this season with a 3.86 GAA and sub .900 save percentage. This will be the first meeting between these two teams since the Knights won the Stanley Cup last season with G5 ending in a 9-3 score. The Panthers will be seeking revenge today and I like them to take this game in regulation.

NJ Devils -1.5 +134

The Wings are in Jersey to face the Devils in what will be a B2B and 4th game in 6 nights for them. Last night they led the Flyers 5-1 after one period then went on to give up 5 straight goals to fall behind 6-5 before scoring late and then eventually winning 7-6 in shootout. Tonight they projected to start journeyman goalie M. Hutchison and that won't be any good for them versus the Devils that can light up the lamp. Plus the Devils will be looking to take out their frustrations on someone as they've lost 3 straight and will be catching a tired Red Wings team at the right time. I like the Devils big in this game tonight.

Calgary Flames +138

The Flames look to continue their winning ways tonight when they're in LA LA Land to face the Kings. The Flames have won 3 straight and a lot of that success is attributed to the play of J. Markstrom, since he's returned from injury in his last two games he's beaten the Panthers 3-1 and then followed that up with a shutout of the Ducks 3-0. The Kings for their part have come down to earth a little of late going 5-5 in their last 10 games with 4 of those wins versus the bottom of the league in the Blue Jackets, Sharks, Kraken and Habs, proving they're having trouble beating the mid to upper echelon teams. Markstrom is hot right now and I like him to limit the Kings tonight, give me the underdog Flames.
