The O's and Red Sox finish off their 3 games series tonight when G. Rodriguez faces G. Whitlock. The O's have won the first 2 games by scores of 7-1 & 7-5, as the Red Sox pitchers haven't been able to slow down the O's bats. Today the send G. Whitlock to the mound that with T. Houck have been the best starters for the Red Sox this season. Whitlock has a 0.96 ERA in 2 starts as he neutralized the Mariners and Angels and is striking out 11.5 batters per 9 innings. Rodriguez has also pitched well through 2 starts with a 2.19 ERA and has been just as dominant in K's, he striking out 11.7 batters per 9. I expect a lot of swing and misses tomorrow in this games with not a lot of runs scored. 

Minnesota Twins/Detroit Tigers U3.5 -105 1st 5 innings

The Twins open a 4 game series with the Tigers tomorrow, we have a matchup of #1 starters when P. Lopez faces T. Skubal. Both have pitched well through 2 starts, Lopez with an ERA of 2.84 and Skubal 2.92. Skubal did give up 4 runs in his last start but did pitch 5 scoreless innings to open the game before giving up runs in the 6th & 7th innings. Skubal has not given up a run in the first 5 innings of either of his starts this season. Lopez should also be able neutralize the Tigers bats early in this game as they haven't been hitting too well over their last 4 games. I like a low scoring game in the first 5 innings.

Dallas Stars -.5 +110 (regulation)

Two hot teams meet tonight in Dallas when the Stars host the Jets, the Jets have won 4 straight games while the Stars are the hottest team in the NHL winning 9 of their last 10 games. The Stars can clinch the #1 overall seed in the Western Conference with a win tonight, plus the Stars have had the Jets number winning 7 of their last 10 meetings. The Stars are rolling on the offensive end as they've scored 3 goals or more in every one of those 9 wins in their last 10, waiting for them in goal will be C. Hellebuyck who is starting to play slightly better of late but has still given up 3 plus goals in 5 of his last 8 starts. I like the red hot Stars on home ice tonight.
